Sinopsis

Tras el éxito del film de Alan Parker, la Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer produjo para la NBC una adaptación televisiva que obtuvo también gran éxito. La historia de un multicultural y multiracial grupo de jóvenes aspirantes a bailarines en una estricta escuela de danza de Nueva York cautivó a millones de personas que seguían sus aventuras y desventuras profesionales y personales y, sobre todo, sus sacrificios.
