Sinopsis

Basada en un documental de Ryan McGarry, Code Black es un drama médico que tiene lugar en la sala de emergencias más conocida del país, donde la cantidad de pacientes es mucho mayor que los medios y recursos con los que cuentan los sanitarios. Los doctores y enfermeros intentan tratar a todos los enfermos, como una condición que denominan "Code Black". La directora del centro, Leanne Rorish (Marcia Gay Harden) es conocida por su éxito en las operaciones de alto riesgo y bajo presión.
