    Sinopsis

    El 18 de Septiembre de 1994, un día antes de estrenarse en la NBC Urgencias (serie dramática sobre la vida del personal de un hospital de Chicago), la CBS estrenó "Chicago Hope", una serie dramática sobre la vida del personal de un hospital de Chicago. La trama inicial se centraba en el trabajo de los cirujanos y amigos Dr. Jeffrey Geiger y Dr. Aaron Shutte, que a menudo en defensa de sus pacientes y ante conflictos éticos y personales se enfrentaban a la administración del hospital, regentada por el Dr. Phillip Watters.
