Biografía

Robert De Niro nació el 17 de agosto de 1943 en la ciudad de Nueva York, Estados Unidos. De ascendencia italiana e irlandesa, De Niro es considerado uno de los mejores actores de su generación. A lo largo de su carrera ha interpretado una amplia variedad de personajes, y ha trabajado con algunos de los directores más importantes de la industria cinematográfica. De Niro debutó en el cine en 1963, pero fue en la década de 1970 cuando comenzó a ganar notoriedad con su actuación en películas como Taxi Driver y El Padrino Parte II, por la cual ganó su primer Premio Óscar.

Premios y reconocimientos

Robert De Niro ha sido galardonado con dos premios Óscar, uno por su papel en El Padrino Parte II (1974) como Mejor Actor de Reparto y otro por Toro Salvaje (1980) como Mejor Actor. Además, ha recibido múltiples nominaciones a premios de la Academia, Globos de Oro y BAFTA.
