Biografía

Pierce Brendan Brosnan (Drogheda, 16 de mayo de 1953) es un actor irlandés.

Brosnan es conocido por ser el quinto actor en interpretar a James Bond, personaje creado por el escritor Ian Fleming, en las adaptaciones oficiales de las películas producidas por Eon Productions: GoldenEye (1995), El mañana nunca muere (1997), El mundo nunca es suficiente (1999) y Muere otro día (2002).

Por otra parte, Brosnan ha protagonizado películas como Un pueblo llamado Dante's Peak, El secreto de Thomas Crown, Mamma Mia!, Percy Jackson y el ladrón del rayo o la coproducción china El extranjero. Así mismo, Brosnan actuó en televisión interpretando personajes importantes tales como Remington Steele, en la serie estadounidense homónima, emitida por la ABC entre 1982 y 1987.

Entre sus distinciones recibidas, figura la de ser oficial de la Orden del Imperio Británico.
