Ellen Lee DeGeneres (Metairie, Luisiana; 26 de enero de 1958) es una actriz y presentadora de televisión estadounidense. Ganadora de varios premios Emmy, ha presentado dos galas de los Emmy, los premios Grammy en 1996 y 1997 y fue la maestra de ceremonias de la 79.ª y 86.ª gala de los premios Óscar. Es la primera persona de la historia que presenta las tres galas.[2] Conformó, durante una temporada, el jurado del cotizado programa de talentos American Idol.
